The wariin seal (chop) is a traditional mark placed upon old Martial Arts certificates. The certificate was aligned with a registry/log of promotions kept by an instructor. The seal was then placed on the edge of the certificate overlapping with the log thus that approximately half of the seal was on each. In this manner, the authenticity of a certificate could be verified by placing the certificate on top of the promotion book.
You will receive 4 variations in 300 DPI high-resolution images. Some images will be matte and others will be distressed (ready to apply to a certificate before printing). You may use these images to have a real stamp made.
We will expertly translate your school or organization’s name into Japanese kanji and/or katakana as appropriate.
