The personal hanko (seal, aka chop) is used in conjunction or in place of a signature on Martial Arts certificates. These will contain the kanji or katakana for your last name and/or title and style.
Most seals we see are do not follow proper protocol. After much research, we have studied the old customs and will produce a truly unique design for you as either a series of custom digital designs (which can be applied to promotion certificates) or as a physical stamp.
This version is for non-Japanese names converted to kanji (Japanese characters) in the ancient seal script (Tensho). Please note that non-Japanese names do not translate directly in Kanji. Instead, we will do our best to choose the closest translation possible.
This is a digital download. You will receive 10 variations of your personal hanko at 300 DPI, which can be placed on a certificate before printing or can be made into an actual stamp.
You will receive both matte and distressed images of each version.
