The school/dojo hanko (seal, aka chop) is used to authenticate a school or organization on Martial Arts certificates. These are often square in shape and will contain the kanji and/or katakana for the school or organization’s name. It is considered distasteful to include your rank or title on these. Most seals we see are do not follow proper protocol. After much research, we have studied the old customs and will produce a truly unique design for you as either a series of custom digital designs (which can be applied to promotion certificates) or as a physical stamp.
This version will show the characters in the ancient seal script (Tensho).
This is a digital download. You will receive 10 variations of your hanko at 300 DPI, which can be placed on a certificate before printing or can be made into an actual stamp.
The school or organization’s name will be expertly translated to Japanese. You will receive both matte and distressed images of each version.
